CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Strategic committees include ARCHES Directors and community volunteers to complete tasks associated with the ARCHES strategic plan. Focus areas include Governance, Finance, Community Partnerships, Health & Safety.

Outreach walks with the Indigenous Recovery Coaching and Blood Tribe Department of Health are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers meet with members of the community in the downtown core to help connect them to resources and offer outreach support. Volunteer must be 18 years of age or older, passionate about transformative harm reduction, be willing to complete orientation and training with staff.

Program volunteers assist in volunteer programs open to participants in recovery and any members of the community interested in contributing to peer-led service projects e.g., sandwich club, self-care series, healthy movement activities, supporting community events and gatherings. Art Collective with “SAGE Sisters” is open to artists in the community from all walks of life. Artist kits and spaces and generously donated by community sponsors. Takes place Thursday afternoons.

All ARCHES volunteers complete intake and orientation, and will be included in relevant training and incident debriefs.
