World AIDS Day

Sunday, December 1st is World AIDS Day, a day for people to unite globally and show their support for people living with HIV or AIDS and to commemorate the millions of lives lost to this disease. Locally, the Lethbridge HIV Connection will be hosting its annual candlelight vigil with special guest speaker Aaron Maluwa, Director Mtengatengo Postal and Telecommunication Museum, Museums of Malawi. Aaron will be speaking about the role the museums of Malawi play in the HIV/AIDS pandemic and the connection the city of Lethbridge has to this important work.

The vigil, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the office of the Lethbridge HIV Connection, 1206 – 6 ave South and begins at 7:00 pm. Join us in international solidarity in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
